Jason Rapp was born and raised in the greater Philadelphia area. From 1991 to 1995, he attended college at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC where he graduated with a B.A. in History. He chose to attend law school at the University of Kentucky and graduated from there in 1998. Jason was a member and committee chair of the Moot Court Board while at U.K. He took and passed the bar examination in 1998 and has been practicing ever since.
Jason is a former prosecutor, having worked for the Fayette County Attorney's Office from 2000 to 2003. Both prior to this and since, he has primarily worked in the fields of Family Law (Divorce, Custody, Child Support and other related matters) and Criminal Law. He has also help achieve favorable settlements for clients in automobile injury cases, including one recently for $1,500,000.00. Jason handles all manners of Family Law and Criminal Law cases, ranging from the straight-forward to the complex. He has handled Criminal Law matters that have been covered by national television programs. He handles divorce matters from those with millions of dollars of assets to shorter-term marriages that can be resolved through an uncontested divorce action.
Jason has a wife and a daughter and loves living and working in the state of Kentucky. Although he lives in Lexington, his practice is statewide. His core belief is that an attorney is an information provider and should seek to maximize the results for all clients.
