DUI Defense:

A DUI can happen to anybody.  You are that somebody.  That is why you are here.  Between his time as a prosecutor and now as a defense attorney, Jason Rapp has handled DUI matters too numerous and diverse to count.  As a prosecutor, he once got a conviction for DUI against two men in the same car at the same time.  How?  Well, one was riding in the other's lap.  The gentleman on top was working the wheel while the other gentleman was working the gas and the brakes.  Some folks say they have seen it all, this should prove that Jason truly has.

DUIs are so much more than the questions of, "Were you driving?" and "What was your blood alcohol concentration?".  They require a much more thorough evaluation.  Recently, many police departments, including those in Lexington, Kentucky and many of the surrounding counties have gone to using body camera devices nearly all the time, including during DUI investigations.  These videos must be provided to the defense and are an excellent way to review the case to determine if all policies and procedures were correctly followed.  They can prove invaluable in assisting in a zealous defense preparation.  Body camera footage is just one of the many things that must and will be reviewed and investigated.
